After decades of religious intolerance by the Communist Party, and an all consuming Maoism, the masses are beginning to look to religion to fullfill their spiritual needs. Surprisingly the Communist Party is being tolerant of this shift, and citizens are flocking to religious gatherings both in large urban areas and in the countryside.
