A migrant worker loads and unloads trucks along the banks of the Yangtze River. Migrant workers flood the town of Chongqing in Western China looking for work, many end up becoming foot porters. As China develops there is a large movement of workers from the countryside to the city, and Chongqing is overflowing with cheap manual labourers. Many of the workers are those who have been relocated because of the Three Gorges Dam project on the Yangzi River.
